To celebrate his birthday, I asked him which of his WIPs would he most like to see advanced, and he opted for Three Hearts, his Xander/Cordelia/Sam story (crossover among Buffy, Angel, and Supernatural). I just read over the story and love what he started with and am going to continue it, but I plan to take it in a new direction. Thus, the story will be taken down and reposted and then continued with some modifications.

Iapos;m unsure how many of you follow(ed) the story, but I didnapos;t want anyone to wonder what happened to it.

2. Maybe Iapos;m not as much of a Brecht fan as I�thought, or maybe Good Woman is just not as good as Mother Courage or Threpenny. Hopefully itapos;s the latter.

3. Season planning is more fun than reading solicitations and new plays combined.

5. Struppie and I�are absolutely going to get there. I�canapos;t wait for him to move to the closer barn so I�can ride him more often.

The bosses, and many coworkers, are out of the office today. Ahhhh. Not that anyone was putting any pressure on me. But you know how it is - there's a huge sense of freedom when the overlords are away.

I dunno what got into me last night but I hope some more kicks in tonight. I actually VACUUMED Not well, mind you, but I did it. Though the Dyson vacuum has terrible performance, and a physically painful high pitched whine, I have to admit that it's a lot easier to maneuver and, despite leaving tons of dirt in the carpet, is good for a "quick fix".

I really wish I could afford new carpet. Something that will not show cat barf soda stains so well. But it just keeps getting further further away.

Lessee... I also almost finished my laundry (as usual, just stacked the clean stuff instead of actually putting it away) dumped the trash (forgot to dump the cat litter - MUST do that tonight), consolidated various piles o crap into one, and burned 4 DVDs for DatingLA (now I just have to remember to mail them). Pretty productive night for me

Next hurdles are: Shredding, dump the recycling, and sorting books for donation to library, bookcrossings, G/L center, and the office book exchange shelves (most of my stuff isn't appropriate for that). Then... The spare room (dun-dun-duuuuunnn)... Though I'm not convinced that's going to happen in this lifetime.

The city was tearing up my street AGAIN today (for the 5th time). What a racket - and it started, in front of my house, at 7:15am. Per the workers, this should be the last time - today's project is prep the street in order to put down the smooth/final asphalt. I'll believe it when I see it.

So I guess that's all I have to talk about. Defnitely a "no news is good news" kind of day. I have an informal process validation to run so I guess I'll go get on that and get it out of the way.

• Due to being sick all last week, Iapos;m at least a bit behind in most of my classes.
  
  
• Letapos;s face it, my calc class honestly sort of left me in the dust the first WEEK. I might just be better off withdrawing and attempting it again next semester, in a different time slot (e.g. NOT 8 a.m.) and with an instructor who doesnapos;t have an accent Iapos;m unable to understand. Trouble is, that means Iapos;m behind two classes in the program. Since Iapos;m basically a semester ahead with prior credit, thatapos;s not TOO bad. Still...
  
  (I donapos;t know...maybe I should talk to advising about the, "at least one undiagnosed sleep disorder and possibly more, eight a.m. Classes will NOT work, even if I AM in a Bachelorapos;s program," thing. Maybe they can help me?)
  
  
• I didnapos;t sleep at ALL last night. The same button that always falls out on my watches fell out on the most recent one again, and the fucking alarm went off every five minutes ALL night for some reason. I tried to fix it - couldnapos;t. Tried to bury the damn thing - could still hear it. ARGH. I feel like I have a hang-over or something.
  
  
• I still have to write my essay for Globalization which I didnapos;t work on at all last week because I was inches from death. So I have, like...a day to do it in. No extensions, because today is the last class. Grr.
  
  Iapos;m tempted to say, "fuck it," and suck up the 15 loss in my grade. But Iapos;ve already made those sorts of sacrifices in math (assuming I donapos;t withdraw), and probably BOMBED a 10 quiz in geography two weeks ago, and Iapos;d really prefer not to totally destroy my GPA this semester.
  
  Plus I REALLY want to do a good job shredding Samuel P. Huntingtonapos;s "clash of civilizations," theory, oh Mr. "Those Black Folk Askinapos; For Special Rights Causes Racism."

So, being the genius I am, Iapos;m helping run a convention again this year, Oct. 24th and 25th.� While Iapos;ve been able to more or less keep up with posts now, Iapos;m guessing that they may get slower as this convention dealy approaches.� Luckily, the con itself is only going to be during dinner/roomie shift. �Which is kind of a bummer, but wonapos;t interfere as much as missing other days. �

Anyway... If any of my roomies want to backthread after the con though, Iapos;d be happy to do so.� This is just kind of a "heads up" thing...

Borrowed my roommateapos;s DS and am playing The Phantom Hourglass.�I like the incorporation of the DSapos;s features into the Zelda style. Iapos;m not very far into the game, but Iapos;m enjoying it. :sniffle: Itapos;d be better if my flippinapos; 360 wasnapos;t dead, though. Josh STILL�hasnapos;t called to see if itapos;s under warranty, but heapos;s not thinking it is. One of the video ports on it blew, we think.

Operation Use-up-all-that-wonky-stash-yarn-for-Christmas-presents�coming along ok. Got... Two�scarves done. Iapos;m working on a third, but Iapos;m doing it on size 15 needles and theyapos;re 16" circulars so thatapos;s a little awkward. I may frog it and do something else. It *is* knitting up awfully fast, though, so I may just deal with it.

Joshapos;s parents got us tickets for the UT game this weekend. Itapos;s a night game, so itapos;ll probably be cold - and UT is sucking ass this year so I doubt weapos;ll stay for the whole game. Going to stay with Joe and Julie, but Iapos;ll have to drive back early again since weapos;re supposed to be gaming Sunday too.

Next weekend Iapos;m not doing ANYTHING. Iapos;m not going anywhere. I refuse.
